Leggit Named a Finalist in Four Digital Media Awards
Well, this is a bit mad.
Leggit has been named a finalist in four categories at the 2026 Digital Media Awards:
- Best Use of SEO
- Best Use of AI
- Best Tech & Innovation
- Best Brand
Leggit was launched earlier this year to make finding and planning running races across Ireland much easier.
Instead of searching through club websites, registration platforms and social media pages, runners can discover races from across the country in one place. They can search by location, distance and date, save races, build a race calendar, receive entry alerts and find their results after crossing the finish line.
The four nominations recognise different parts of that same idea: making Irish running easier to navigate.
What are the nominations for?
Best Tech & Innovation recognises the technology behind bringing race information from across Ireland together and turning it into one simple experience for runners.
Best Use of AI recognises how Leggit uses AI carefully behind the scenes to help organise race information and keep listings accurate and useful. The rule is simple: if something cannot be verified, it does not get published.
Best Use of SEO recognises how Leggit is helping runners find individual events and discover races near them through Google, even when they have never heard of Leggit before.
Best Brand recognises the lime, black and cream identity, the running-shoe logo and a tone of voice designed to feel more like another Irish runner than a generic fitness company.
To have the product recognised across technology, AI, search and brand feels fairly special. Being shortlisted alongside some of Ireland's biggest brands and digital teams makes it even more surreal.
What is next for Leggit?
Race results and personal running histories are now live, with more races and result sources being added. Native Android and iOS apps are also on the way.
The goal remains the same: give runners one place to find their next race, plan what is ahead and keep every finish.
