Find a race for the day you're actually free

  • Got one specific day in mind? There's a new "Specific date" option in the Date filter. Pick the exact day and Leggit shows only what's on then. Free next Saturday? Kids at the grandparents on the 7th? Away for a night somewhere new and fancy a run while you're at it? Find the one that fits.
  • Race cards now show the start time too, right beside the distance. See whether it's a dawn alarm or a civilised 11am before you commit, and plan the rest of your day around it.

Search for races by name

  • Know the race you're after? Hit ⌘K from anywhere on the site, type a few letters, and Leggit will dig it out for you.
  • Grand for when you remember the name but can't be bothered scrolling — "Westport", "Jimmy", "Cooley" — it'll find it.
  • Mobile version on the way. Sit tight.

Save races you're eyeing up

  • Tap the bookmark on any race card and it'll be waiting on your profile when you come back.
  • Past saves stick around too. Peek at races you've already run via the "View past races" link on your profile.

Create your Leggit profile

  • You can now sign up and create a Leggit profile, somewhere to keep track of the races you're interested in.
  • Sign up with Google or your email in a few seconds.

More MyRunResults races now listed

  • We've refreshed how we pull races from MyRunResults — a lot more upcoming events now show up in your race list.
  • Expect to see more local 5Ks, club races, and championship fixtures alongside the bigger events.

Share filtered race lists

  • Filters now show up in the URL — pick a month, county, or distance, copy the link, and send it. Want to share all June races with your running club? Just send the URL.
  • Works on every list page: the home page, county pages (e.g. /county/cork), and distance pages (e.g. /10k-races-clare).
  • Bookmark your favourite filter combos so you can come back to them in one click.

Northern Ireland races now on Leggit

  • We've added Athletics Northern Ireland as a source — road running events across Antrim, Down, Tyrone, Derry, and Armagh are now listed.
  • NI events include races like the Larne AC 10 Miler, Sperrin Harriers Half Marathon, Belfast City Marathon, and Groomsport 10K.
  • Leggit now covers road running across the entire island of Ireland.

More Munster races + pre-sale listings

  • Added Munster Running as a new source — hundreds of club road races across Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, and Clare that weren't listed before.
  • Races now appear before registration opens. If a race is announced but not yet on sale, it shows up with an "Opens soon" button — so you can plan ahead.
  • Race cards now show "Register" or "Opens soon" clearly, depending on whether a registration link is available.

Submit your race

  • Organising a race in Ireland? You can now submit it directly to Leggit — it's free and takes less than a minute.
  • We list races from across the web, but if yours isn't showing up yet, this is the fastest way to get it added.
  • Head to Submit a Race and fill in the details — we'll take it from there.

Find races by date

  • Filter races by Today, This Weekend, or Next 30 days — or pick a specific month.
  • Race list groups update to match your date filter, so it's easier to plan ahead.
  • 4 Mile, 5 Mile, 10 Mile, and more distances now tucked under a "More" dropdown to keep things tidy.

Data quality improvements

  • Races like "Battle Of Clontarf 10", "Beragh 5", and "BK10K" now show the correct distance instead of "Other".
  • "SELECT / VENUE TBC" no longer shows as a race location — we figure it out from the race name instead.

  • Added EventMaster.ie as our 8th data source — 232 new race listings.
  • Races like Sportsworld Terenure 5 Mile and Leixlip 5K that were previously missing are now listed.
  • Fixed duplicate listings.
  • Many races are now verified across 2–3 sources, boosting date confidence.
  • Improved structured data for Google — race events now include status, description, and organiser info.
  • Added PWA support — install Leggit to your home screen from your browser.
