Race details
The Derravaragh 5 and 10 Mile Road Race returns on Sunday 21st June at 11am, starting from the shores of Lough Derravaragh at Derravaragh Holiday Park (N91 E17T), just outside Multyfarnham village, Co Westmeath. Runners, joggers, walkers, strollers and dogs on leads are all welcome. Every participant gets an event t shirt featuring the swans of Lough Derravaragh, a nod to the legend of the Children of Lir, who spent 300 years on these waters.

Entry is €30 for the 5 mile and €35 for the 10 mile, both chip timed with the t shirt included. On the day there are prizes across age categories, a children's fun race, post race refreshments and a monster raffle. All proceeds go to Ballinafid Multyfarnham Community Services, a voluntary charity caring for the elderly and isolated in the community since 1974.
