The annual Ireland West Airport Runway Run, in partnership with Portwest is back on 19 September 2026. This charity 5km fun run is a unique opportunity to run or walk on the runway at Ireland West Airport. Proceeds from the event will go to the charity partners for 2026 - Cancer Care West, Family Centre Castlebar, Liver Ireland Support Network, Mayo Mental Health Association, Pancreatic Cancer Ireland, and Sunflower Children’s Hospice.
