Lucan Harriers AC 5 Mile

The Fiat Lucan Harriers 5 Mile Road Race takes place on Sunday 13th September at 10am, starting and finishing at the club's clubhouse in Lucan. The race is chip timed and incorporates the Dublin Athletics 5 Mile Championship, with championship results counted from the gun. Race numbers and t shirts can be collected at the clubhouse on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm or on Sunday morning from 8am to 9:30am. There is a bag drop in the clubhouse, toilets in the car park, a water station at halfway and the club's famous post race spread in the marquee afterwards. Cash prizes of €300, €150 and €50 go to the first three men and women, with a €300 bonus for a man under 22:57 or a woman under 28:06, and prizes for wheelchair athletes. The Tom Byrne Memorial trophies go to the race winners. Parking is very limited, so use the C1, C2, L51 or L53 bus, walk or cycle if you can.
