The Newcastle Way Marathon & Half Marathon on 4 October 2026 follow the way marked Newcastle Way trail in County Down. The details on this page are based on the previous event and subject to change; we will update this listing as more information comes to hand. The Marathon course starts close to the centre of Newcastle town centre and follows a route up through Tollymore forest and then across to Castlewellan forest, before making its way down to Murlough. Runners go through the National Trust
