Star of the Sea A.C. 36th Annual Cross Country Meeting

Star of the Sea A.C. hosts its 36th annual cross country meeting on Sunday 27th September at Greenanstown, Stamullen, Co Meath. The venue is signposted from Cooperhill Cross on the Duleek to Julianstown road and from Stamullen village. No dogs at any time, as the venue is a working sheep farm. The juvenile programme starts at 11am with races for boys and girls from under 9 to under 17, over distances from 500m to 4,500m. The junior, senior and masters programme starts at 1:40pm, with women racing 3,000m and men racing 6,000m. All races are chip timed. Entry is online only and closes at noon on the Friday before, with no entries on the day. Prizes for the first six juveniles and first three teams in each race, plus cash prizes in the junior, senior and masters races. The Star of the Sea shield goes to the best juvenile club.
