Leggit for iPhone Is Now on the App Store

Leggit is now an app. Free, on the App Store, for iPhone.

When Leggit was shortlisted for the Digital Media Awards we said native apps were on the way. The iPhone one is here.

Free. Requires iOS 17 or later.

Everything you use Leggit for on the web is in the app: find races across Ireland, save the ones you're eyeing up and claim your results after race day. Plus a couple of things only an app can do, starting with a widget that puts this week's races on your Home Screen.

Every race in Ireland, in your pocket

Open the app and this week's races are right there. Filter by county, distance and date, tap "Near me" to see what's on around you, and open any race for the details: start time, location, cost and the registration link.

It's the same race list as leggit.ie, updated every day from every major Irish race listing. If a race is on Leggit, it's in the app.

This week's races on your Home Screen

Add the Leggit widget and the week's races sit on your Home Screen, no need to open anything. Spot one you like, tap it, and the app opens straight to that race.

To add it: press and hold on your Home Screen, tap the plus (or Edit, then Add Widget on newer iPhones), search for Leggit and add it.

Save it, calendar it, get there

Save a race and it's waiting on your profile. Add it to your calendar with one tap and it goes straight into your iPhone calendar. On race morning, open the start line in Apple Maps for directions. Handy for that early drive to a town you've never been to.

Found one your club should do? Share it from the app and get it into the group chat.

Claim your results

Results are in the app too. After the race, find your finish time, tap "This is me" and it's saved to your Leggit profile. Race by race, your running history builds up in one place, whoever timed the race.

Same Leggit, same account

Sign in with your Leggit email and your saved races and claimed results are already there. Everything syncs between the app and the website, so you can plan on your laptop and check the details on your phone at the start line.

What about Android?

It's in testing. Leggit for Android is going through Google's closed testing at the moment and will be on the Play Store once that's done. Sign up to the newsletter and we'll let you know the moment it's out.
